Just like the past summer, we were fortunate to be able to get away for a good portion of the summer in the RV again this year. Opting for a bit less driving and the cooler northern weather, we really made out! This summer's heat wave and drought was terrible in the Mid-Atlantic while in Canada, it was, on average, about 70 degrees or so. When we got to the northern tip of Newfoundland in St. Anthony, it was about 35 degrees for several days. That's Fahrenheit, not Celsius! What a fantastic exploration of Nature's beauty. The buttons down the side chronicle our trip in the order that we visiting, starting with Bar Harbor Maine. One other quick note. Unlike our trip in 2001 when Ethan was just 5 weeks old. This year, Ethan was 14 months and just a bit more mobile! So, we enlisted the help of a babysitter to accompany us on our journey. Just in case you don't recognize the teenager in the photo. Here's just a bit of the mischief: (getting into the sink and turning on the water!) Also, a quick shot of Ethan's "Place at the table" Finally, the overview Map:
