Salt Lake City, UT

We spent 3 days in the Salt Lake City area, camping to the North in Ogden.  Ogden was nearby to "Antelope Island", a state park in the middle of the Great Salt Lake as well as nearby some 4 wheeling trails.  One our first day there, we explored the Hill Air Force Base Museum.  The largest indoor plane display that I had ever seen, including an SR-71 Stealth Bomber.  Day two was supposed to be only a half-day of 4 wheeling.  However, when I returned a 4:30PM with the boys, I was greeted by a worried wife who was ready to call the police.  Since I had picked a more difficult trail to test out the Jeep's ground clearance and skid plate package, it took several hours to navigate the 18 mile trail.  Finally, we visited the Great Salt Lake.  Unfortunately, the weather wasn't too cooperative and it was quite cool.  The boys braved the cold water but I didn't take a shot a floating in it.

Here's some picture highlights.

Here's a couple photos from the 4 wheeling adventure.

This actually wasn't the rockiest part of the trail!

Made it to the top!
