May 1st - 2002

It's been a busy month. Following the club race weekend in Atlanta, we returned for Ethan's First Birthday and I took the boys for a weekend at Summit Point to support the pro race team. In addition, Brandon has "graduated" from Tiger Scouts and is now an official "Wolf".  Finally, last but not least, baseball has started for Brandon and Geoffrey.  Brandon plays baseball on Mondays and Wednesdays and Geoffrey plays T-Ball on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  There goes the relaxing evenings until mid-June!

April 10th

This past weekend, the whole family travelled to Road Atlanta for my second PCA Club Race of the season.  It was Brandon's birthday on Saturday and one of his presents was a Kodak Digital Camera.  He really liked taking pictures with the Poloroid we got him a couple years ago, but at about $1/per photo for a really crummy image, this will turn out to be less expensive and higher quality in no time.  Here's a couple of shots from the weekend taken by our newest "shutter bug". - Brandon's first photo's.

During the weekend, Ethan decided that it was time to start walking.  The boys met some play friends from some of the other families that were there.  AND, Beth got a huge sheet cake for Brandon to serve at the Driver's Dinner on Sat. night.  Everyone sang him happy birthday and the host of the weekend gave he and Geoff some Hoosier Racing Tire hats.

As for me, apart from a slight mechanical problem (oil leak) that needs to be taken care of before the next race, I qualified 4th and finished 3rd with a real shot at second due to a spin in front of our pack on the 2nd to last lap.  See the rest of the details on my PCA Racing Results Page.

March 17th

It was a busy weekend as we finally focused our attention on decorating Geoff's room.  In addition, I made some progress on an elevated train rainway in Brandon's room.
