The Majority of our trip was spent in Newfoundland.  We spent just a bit over 2 weeks there doing incredible things like Salmon Fishing, Camping in a major National Park, whale watching, iceberg sighting, and a few other interesting things that I will chronicle here.

First off, Newfoundland is and Island, you need to get there by boat or plane.  Since we are traveling in the RV, we opted for the boat!

Fortunately, the ferry is about as big as an ocean liner so our RV wasn't nearly the biggest thing on board.

It was cold and miserable weather for the ferry.  Fortunately, since it's inside, has sleeping cabins, an arcade, movie theater and other activities, the kids were kept busy for the approximately 6 hour journey from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland.

Once we arrive in "Port au Basque" in Newfoundland, more of the same weather greeted us.  I wasn't so sure about the trip this far north at this point, however, within just a hours drive or so North, the sky's cleared and the weather warmed to a nice 65-70 degrees.

Here's a few shots of the Port City as we arrived.
