Bar Harbor, Maine

Similar to last year, we started our trip from Watkins Glen, NY.  Only, this year I was supporting our Grand-Am Racing Team's effort and not racing my own car (which I had done the previous w/e).

Along the MUCH shorter journey to our first stop in Bar Harbor, we made a lunchtime stop in Kennebunkport for a quick visit to the beach.  Of course, the water was ICE-COLD.  But that didn't stop the boys from playing in it.

This was Ethan's first real "taste" of the beach.  Which you can tell that he liked if you look closely at his mouth!

Following a brief stopover at Kennebunkport, we arrived at Bar Harbor, Maine.  There are two major attractions in Bar Harbor, the mountains and the beaches.  Here's a couple shots from the top of Cadillac Mountain.

And, our course, a visit to "Sand Beach" was on the agenda as well.  Again, the water was freezing cold, but the boys played in it anyway.

Last, no trip to Maine would be complete without seafood.  We ate many fresh, steamed lobsters and here's Geoff eating a "steamer" (which I personally find disgusting)
