Along the way to St. Anthony, Newfoundland After several days in Gros Morne, we continued our trek northward to the northernmost tip of Newfoundland, the town of St. Anthony for our whale watching and Iceberg sighting adventure. Along the way, we stopped by the "Natural Arches", a rock formation along the coast. Farther up the road, we stopped into the town of "Port au Choix". One of the larger towns along the coast. It even had a Sears Catalog pickup location! We stopped to eat "Chinese". Yes, a Chinese Restaurant was in town, right next to the major fishery. We also stopped at a "Whale Museum" to see some very large skeletons and other artifacts. Soon, we were back on the road, heading for St. Anthony... |
