PCA Driver's Education Program

The Porsche Club of America has many types of activities for Porsche owners. I personally purchased one so that I could get involved in the "driver's education" program. An organized, "safe" way to run your street car on the racetrack. The format is usually 4 15-20 minute sessions per day of track time. To keep it safe, passing is only allowed on designated straight-aways and only when given a clear hand signal by the leading car. Each student is given an in-car instructor until your are deemed "ready" to drive on your own. In addition, run groups separate cars by experience level rather than car performance. In most clubs there are 4 or 5 groups. Participating cars range from a pure stock, daily driven street car to fully prepared race cars.

Of Course, I am particular to Boxsters at the Track. However, I am the only one running a Boxster consistently at every DE event. Here's some shots of my car taken at Summit Point Raceway (http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com)
