7-8 Baseball

This year, Brandon has moved up to 7-8 baseball.  This is the transition to something closer to a "real" game.  2 outs or 8 batters before they switch sides.  They play 5 innings if it stay's light long enough.  Fortunately, the 8 year olds from the previous year are pretty good.  There are 5 of them so the team can make some decent plays.  The coach rotates the kids around each inning so that they all get to play different positions.  Brandon's doing good, he's able to hit the ball pretty well.  As you might expect at 7, he still needs a lot of practice catching and throwing.  He really enjoys playing though.
